The kids always like to think about exactly how our Elf on the Shelf gets back to the North Pole each night, so this was a fun one! (And a fairly easy one, too!) Just stick your elf in a mailing envelope, and if need be, cut out some leg and hat holes (this is optional ;), then address your package, and he’s off!
It was also a fun puzzle to put the note on the door and them for them to figure out exactly where he was :) It took a few minutes for them to figure out that he was in the mailbox. I like the ideas that sometimes take them a little longer to figure out!

Has your Elf on the Shelf ever gone postal? This could work as a fun arrival idea as well. Of course, we had to make sure to put him in the mailbox AFTER the mailman came so that he wasn’t at risk of accidentally getting taken ;)
