Our little guy LOVES John Deere tractors, so I knew he needed John Deere Valentine’s to give out— nothing from the dollar store would work for his preschool class this year! And, as long as I’m making valentines for him, I’m happy to offer them as a free printable for you, too!
Before I get into the details, I have to show you the John Deere Valentine that he made for his pre-school class. The teacher sent home a blank red heart and asked that the students decorate them and bring them back.
When I asked him how he wanted to decorate his, I already knew the answer: “With John Deere tractors! And a gator!” So we printed some online and he cut them out and pasted them on. I was also able to talk him into adding some Valentine stickers, of course he picked out the green ones and a few pink one because his teacher loves pink (because she’s a girl, he added :).
So here is his John Deere tractor Valentine masterpiece (it was HARD for his 8-year old crafty sister no to take over!). I was impressed with how evenly he dispersed the John Deere elements:
And the rug burn above his eye is from him trying to ride in a rubbermaid tote down the stairs…boys!!! But it is fun how passionate they can become about things like tractors. My parents live on a farm not far from us, so it is the highlight of any weekend when he gets to ride with grandpa in a tractor. And of course, grandpa has John Deere tractors so they are his favorite, along with the color green.
Free Printable John Deere Tractor Valentines:
So here is the John Deere Valentine that I whipped up for him. His teacher asked that we NOT write his classmate’s names on the Valentines. Rather, she wanted us to leave them blank so that the kids could just go around and drop one in each bag. So this is why there is no “to” spot on these and only a from. I thought it was fun to add his picture since these are for preschoolers. It will be easy to see who it is from!
I’m including instructions below to customize these with your child’s name and picture. Or, if you’d prefer to just have blank Valentines to print, you’ll see that option below, too!

How to Customize the Free John Deere Valentine:
These are meant to be customized! Here is how you can do so:
1. Click on the red square above. A new window should open with the printable. Press the download icon or right click and select “save as” and save to your computer.
3. Add your child’s picture and name.
If you have any questions about this process, please don’t hesitate to let me know, I’m happy to help!! Everyone deserves to have a GREAT John Deere themed Valentine’s Day ;)
Top them off with some GREEN candy taped to the back and you’re all set! Luckily he only has nine kids in his preschool class, so picking green suckers out of a bag shouldn’t be so bad!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Now his sisters are asking me to make Valentine’s with their pictures on them…I was hoping they would be happy with the Dollar Store ones! We’ll see…maybe they will forget about these!
We hope you have a GREAT Valentine’s Day!
