A Resurrection Bundt cake is a fun activity that you can do with your kids to celebrate the true meaning of Easter.
With a few modifications, you can turn a regular Bundt cake into an empty tomb — what a great reminder that He is Risen!
I’ll show you how to make it!

Bake the Bundt cake
Time to decorate!
Once your cake has cooled completely, cut out a quarter section of the cake.
Then flip it over to create a dome over the hole of the cake.
Pipe chocolate icing around the top to fill in the cracks…
… then cover top of the cake with icing and add some Oreo crumbs for dirt.
Add some decoration to the opening with candy rocks and pipe some green icing on the top for grass.
Use your favorite donut to represent the stone that was rolled away from the entrance!
Add a topper
Cut off the bottom, tape it to a skewer and insert into the top of the cake.
Or if you prefer, you can buy a cake topper like this one from Amazon!
We hope that your cake turns out well and that you have a happy and meaningful Easter!
